The whole food plant-based diet is all the buzz today.  However, there were many pioneers from a couple hundred years ago working to educate the public on diet and lifestyle.  Today let's look at the Natural Hygiene movement and its impact on what we see now.  Dr. Herbert Shelton authored over 40 books and spent his life helping others get well.  He lectured extensively on the topic of natural health.

We'll talk about the history and the founders of Natural Hygiene, specifically looking at Dr. Shelton's work.  Then, let's define hygiene from this perspective and see what they are really talking about.  What are the elements that make up this system?

Then we'll look at the two main causes of disease from the Hygienists point of view, as well as how to get well and stay well.  With more and more people contracting chronic and degenerative disease, it is vital to learn more about what the body is capable of digesting, utilizing, and eliminating from the body.
