EPISODE #121: THE EGO’S OBSESSION WITH DEATH - DON’T DIE, TRANSHUMANISM & THE POST-HUMAN ERA
Death is something we all know is part of life. It is the cyclical nature of this world. Everything is born, lives in some capacity, and then eventually fades away. So, what is the push about NOT DYING all about anyway?
Today, we'll focus on the ego mind's fixation with death in all of its many forms. The modern technological era may be pushing us toward a new human, however, our spiritual nature is larger than anything the body can offer.
Let's chat about:
The recent Netflix documentary Don't Die! It's a perfect example of the ego putting all of its focus, energy, and existence into living eternally in the physical body. Why the need to defy the inevitable?
Is there a greater agenda at work? Have you heard of Transhumanism? What is Transhumanism? Where did it originate and where does it want to lead humanity?
Even further than Transhumanism, what about Post-Humanism, or the Post Human Era? Why are there global conferences discussing this?
Finally, what would A Course in Miracles remind us? Are we a really a body that seeks to live in the world forever? Or are we something so much greater and beyond anything the physical world can offer?
