EPISODE #30 5 PARENTING TIPS: SHIFTING AWARENESS TO CREATE A MORE PEACEFUL HOME

Continuing the conversation about parenting again this week where we specifically look at the two sides of the mind, the ego side and our spiritual side, and discover which perspective we are parenting from.  Getting to know these aspects makes it easier to decide who we want to see with.

Let's get a little deeper into life with kids, the reality of dealing with inevitable challenges, and discuss 5 simple strategies that might help you create a more peaceful home.

1.  Learning to really listen to your kids instead of the mental chatter and assumption going on in your head.
2.  Detaching from expecting your kids to be a certain way that you have imagined in your mind.
3.  Giving your kids the physical and mental space to discover who they are.  How much hovering is too much?
4.  Relax a little!  Kids go through numerous phases that won't always last forever.  Taking a step back to allow things to work themselves out can make a world of difference.
5.  Teach your kids how to observe their own thinking minds.  Gifting them the tools to examine their own thinking allows them the ability to see differently as adults.

Join me today to see what may help you become a much calmer parent and create a much happier home.
